Presently a Vice President at healthcare's leading end-to-end cloud-based financial and clinical performance management solutions provider, ZirMed, I have worked in the healthcare industry since my college internship at the Health Insurance Association of America in Washington, DC (now AHIP - America's Health Insurance Plans). Along the way I have worked for and with organizations ranging from five bed critical access hospitals to multi-hospital health systems spread across entire regions and from renowned children's hospitals to skilled nursing facilities. The bulk of my experience has been grounded in hospital revenue cycle operations with a pronounced focus on all aspects of revenue integrity - transparent pricing, CDM management, charge capture processes/documentation, coding and audit risk management. Recent expansion of this experience has included significant work on aspects of healthcare management arising from pending shifts in reimbursement models, specifically cost accounting, patient population health management and benchmarking at the intersection of clinical and financial outcomes.
