As global Director of HR Systems and reporting, I am responsible for developing and managing Valmet's global HR system toolkit and related processes with a special focus on people reporting. We aim at lean processes, smooth data flows between systems and tools that are easy to use and focus on the relevant topics. In my opinion when a HR system is unnoticed, it's a successfull HR system. In my role I have also been responsible for global coordination of HR and payroll streams in an acquisition where 1600 employees in 30 countries were acquired to Valmet group. During Valmet demerger from Metso group, I was responsible for coordinating the HR systems stream from Valmet's side and global payroll stream for both companies. With my work I have contributed to significant improvements in HR systems and processes. I have also gathered myself a wide understanding of HR and payroll matters globally. In my previous role as a manager, employment and reporting I was responsible for developing the processes and tools for global people reporting and for defining standardized procedures for social sustainability reporting. Previously as a development manager and leader of the development team in Silta Oy I was in charge of the process development and defining standardized procedures for the payroll service production department. I also led payroll process streamlining consultation projects for external companies. I have received very good feedback from my subordinates concerning my manager skills. Specialties: In my work I like to focus on the end result and execution of praxis. I enjoy solving problems and organizing broad and detailed projects. Absorbing new things is very easy for me and I like to operate as a pioneer of development. Analyzing current situation and decision making based on the information available is one of my strengths. I perceive quickly what is relevant in situations and I am able to create rapidly practical solutions to emerging challenges.
