Leadership Development Program

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is a Warehousing company which specializes in cold storage, public warehousing, dedicated distribution facilities, transportation, and dry warehousing.

I am a 2017 Graduate of Penn State University, University Park, with a degree in Supply Chain Management and focus on Information Systems Management. Prior to graduating I completed a seven month Procurement Execution co-op position at United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies), a Fortune 100 company. Through this opportunity I was exposed to purchasing processes and a number of projects for the castings/forgings/machine made commodities within the aerospace division. Upon graduation, I began my career at United States Cold Storage (a leader in the food warehousing/transportation industry) within their three year leadership development program. The program contained four experiences, each being nine months in length - Logistics Systems, Logistics Analytics, Operations, and Carrier Development. Following the completion of the program, I was hired as a Carrier Management Specialist. In this role, I lead National RFP efforts, procure carriers for all outbound transportation regions, and ensure carrier compliance with all set processes and expectations.
