Jack is a serial entrepreneur and a winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is actively involved in the Austin civic and nonprofit community and served as chairman of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, advisory board chairman of PeopleFund, a community development loan fund for low-income entrepreneurs, a member of the board of KIPP Austin Public Schools, a network of nonprofit schools serving more than 3,000 students in east Austin, chairman of the Greater Austin Technology Partnership and chairman of Texas Emerging Technology Fund for the central Texas region, as well as on the board of Peoples Community Clinic, which provides high quality healthcare to more than 10,000 low income central Texans.
