Gregory currently oversees the development, implementation, operation, and support of information systems supporting medical student education at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. Previously, Gregory led in the support of information systems, facilitating educational delivery, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and drug discovery as the University of Iowa’s Director of Information Technology at the College of Pharmacy. Most recently, he led strategic efforts to transition courses online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also designed and oversaw the implementation of critical IT infrastructure for a state-of-the-art facility supporting pharmacy education, research, and sterile product manufacturing. From 2005 to 2011, Gregory functioned as the University’s Director of Information Technology at Research Information Systems. There, he planned and managed a large-scale mainframe replacement project and delivered a modern web-based ERP solution for research operations to efficiently administer grants and contracts, animal husbandry, training records, and accounting functions. He also founded an IT community of practice for over 250 application developers at the University of Iowa to share software development knowledge and practices. Whether he is leading teams or delivering tailored support to faculty, staff, or students, Gregory is committed to developing enhanced operational and organizational procedures to eliminate inefficiencies and generate campus-wide savings in challenging environments. In addition to his professional achievements, Gregory possesses exemplary educational qualifications, including a Bachelor of Music from the University of Iowa, and he is an alumnus of the MOR Leaders Program and Educause IT Management Institute. In his free time, Gregory enjoys music, disc golf, and spending time with family and friends.
