I’m a senior communications, marketing and people leader well-versed in all aspects of communications and marketing from brand development and marketing strategy to digital communications and stakeholder relations. I have a proven track record of leading with enthusiasm, investing in people and working cross-functionally to design and deliver outstanding marketing and customer experiences. I’m particularly skilled at building great teams and working with others to get things done. And a few achievements include: • Led the creation of a communications strategy for 50,000 current students designed to promote engagement in student life, and build the UBC brand. • Worked collegially across 14 UBC student service departments to consolidate marketing and communications functions, and build consensus on a new approach for communicating with current students. • Oversaw development of a digital strategy for UBC student communications including the redesign of three web properties, adoption of structured content and the creation of a social media strategy. • Key contributor to an integrated brand development and management initiative for BCIT. • Expanded BCIT’s student recruitment strategy, integrating paid advertising, digital and in-person.
