I am an IT professional of some 31 plus years experience working in the Money Broking Industry for various iterations of Tullett Prebon over that period, now TPICAP. My remit entails dealing with ‘customers’ ranging from Brokers and Banks to Auditors and Senior management. As such I am well briefed at dealing with a whole range of personalities and demanding people. I currently manage a team of 35 people based in the UK, US and ASIA. They range from your operational ‘Production Support Analyst’ type people, through to 3rd party contractors via external software houses from Sri Lanka, India and more recently in my new role a team in Manila. They all have one common goal and that is looking after Front, Middle and Back office trading applications covering the whole range of those financial products traded by TPICAP.I manage a large proportion of the Production Systems running at the company so I’m not afraid of a big remit or a big role.
