I am currently transitioning my career to enter the business of Baking. I have been baking as a hobby for the past 8 years and have decided to make it into my career. I have gained experience in my own kitchen making a variety of desserts, including cookies, cakes/cupcakes, brownies/bar cookies, and pies. I have recently enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts Certificate program at Erie Community College in order to receive formal training to develop my skills further. While I am in school, I am interested in part time work in a bakery to gain on the job experience. I am aiming to gain knowledge in all aspects of the business to that I may be an asset to any bakery that employees me in the future.
