Bio

I improve the performance of sales people, no matter what their age or experience. I'm comfortable operating at all levels - from telephone selling through to complex business development and account management challenges. I'm passionate, compelling and knowledgeable. Away from work I still like punishing my ageing body in the gym three or four times a week and love watching my son playing rugby (both codes). He's far better than I ever was. After five years spent running the Access Sales Academy, I'm proud that the average contribution of a typical Access sales person has doubled during this time. I provide sales people with practical tools and techniques that they can apply immediately to improve the quality of their business conversations and their sales results. I blend proven sales methodologies with innovation and I'm comfortable delivering in the classroom, in the virtual classroom or creating e-learning content from scratch. I specialise in B2B sales and I've worked for, and with, a wide variety of leading organisations in twenty-four countries to date - including Cisco, SAP, HP, SAS, Canon, BT, Compaq, Siemens and Iris. During this time I've trained thousands of sales people. With the Access Group I train, coach and mentor a wide range of sales personnel - from new graduate-level sales starters through to highly-experienced ERP professionals and Sales Directors. I've also introduced and run the Access Sales Accreditation programme where all our new sales hires demonstrate that they are 'fit to sell' Access after around five months with the company. I'm quick-witted, slightly irreverent, intelligent (I gained my MBA at only 23 years of age), proactive and, most importantly, I care. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing a new graduate develop and prosper into a high performing sales person, or being able to teach an 'old hand' a new approach that invigorates them and delivers them success.
