I love being a product manager! I started in product development in 2006, working on an online learning platform targeted specifically for manufacturing companies while at Tata Technologies (I GET IT) and have continued that journey with Cornerstone. I really enjoy the challenges of developing products and the rewards they bring to our customers. I work very closely with many key enterprise customers, listening to their needs and pain points, and then building solutions to solve their problems. I believe my communication skills are a major strength, working with our highest-valued customers to present our products future roadmaps, introduce new features and provide product demos. With my past background in systems administration, I am able to use my technical background to my advantage. Some of the highlights of my work experience: - Collecting feedback and expectations from customers. - Creating and presenting product roadmaps to stakeholders. - Perform a 7-layer analysis on product backlogs for quarterly feature commitments. - Create feature stories to introduce to engineering during sprint introductions. - Respond to CR's (Customer Requests) that potentially will become new features in our products. - Develop release notes and present to key stakeholders. - Create product documentation and demo videos. - Creating marketing strategy for go-to-market, including social campaigns and online advertising. - Working with customer service teams during pre-sales and post-sales discussions. - Working with the Azure Cloud to support online solutions. - Use Jira and Confluence to manage product development. - Use Miro (and other similar tools) to create user journeys, workflows and ideas. Outside of my product development experiences, I previously worked as an IT consultant, helping various customers manage their IT infrastructures. I was able to gain valuable technical experience that I still am using today. One of my great strengths is in my technical experiences and ability to learning new technologies quickly.
