With 20 years of design experience, I have worked in e-commerce, social networking, and handheld product design, spanning the use of graphic, web, UI and UX design practices. I have been primarily working in the medical field for the last 13 years, with a strong focus on user research and design, as well as understanding regulatory requirements and patient needs for a wide user demographic. Additionally, I have maintained an active freelance schedule for outside creative projects in print, web and handheld applications. I have been an active speaker on User Experience in the medical field since 2014. Working with UBM Canon, I've presented at both the MD&M East & West conferences, and chaired a session on Usability and Design at the BIOMEDevice in December of 2014. I've also presented on UX and design for other organizations, including SASE at UCSD.
