Emergency Response Manager and Operations Support

I have spent the past 28 years working in the specialty chemical industry. I started in 1990 as a process operator. I began working as operations foreman in 2011 and was promoted to operations/maintenance coordinator in 2013. In 2014 I was promoted to Health and Safety Program manager and began travelling to Ulsan, South Korea to support our JV. I was responsible for purchasing emergency response equipment, training emergency response teams and writing the Global Emergency Response Guideline that would be used in all future JV locations. Other duties in South Korea included safety performance audits, behavior based safety program implementation as well as accident/incident investigating and reporting. In 2016 I rejoined the Pasadena team to help complete the dismantling and remediation of the plant. I was tasked with ensuring proper disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste and preparing paperwork to be submitted to TCEQ for closing all waste management units at that location.
