Alan Bethke is results proven leader that can effectively influence and mobilize an organization to identify and capture new revenue opportunities. Alan’s ability to create measurable value for customers, employees and for the company has been rewarded with eleven promotions in nineteen years. Alan has a rare and diverse combination of marketing and sales skills and expertise, including: building brand to align the company for revenue growth; connecting people to the brand story (internally and externally) to position the company for sales growth; differentiating the company’s value from competitors to generate and demonstrate extraordinary growth opportunities. Currently, Alan holds an executive leadership role as the Vice President, Marketing at Subaru of America. At Subaru, Alan provides strategic leadership over all marketing and advertising functions in order to create a strong and differentiated demand platform for the Subaru brand and all of the Subaru models. In that effort, Alan has effectively managed a budget of $250+ million, six advertising agencies, and a department of twenty seven employees. During Alan’s tenure, Subaru has been named one of America’s hottest brands by Newsweek and a “Star Performer” by Brandweek. He has been instrumental in helping develop award winning advertising creative, including an Effie winner and an Emmy nomination. During Alan's tenure in marketing, Subaru has acheied record levels of demand, sales, and market share. In addition to his marketing experience, Alan has developed an extensive sales background, having worked as a District Sales Manager in both the automotive and appliance industries. Alan is a current MBA candidate at the Rutgers School of Business – Camden and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Penn State University, Smeal College of Business.
