I am a versatile, detail-oriented journalist specializing in web production in Austin, Texas. I joined the web desk at the Austin American-Statesman in September 2012 following three years on the copy/design desk there. I worked at The Daily Texan, the University of Texas' student newspaper, in various capacities for three years. I spent summer 2008 interning on the copy desk at The Arizona Republic through the Pulliam Fellowship Program; summer 2009 interning on the copy desk at The Boston Globe; and fall 2009 interning on the copy desk at the Austin American-Statesman. I graduated with a bachelor of journalism from the University of Texas in May 2010, followed by a residency and internship with the Dow Jones News Fund.
