I believe wholeheartedly in the extraordinary capacity and life-changing outcomes of engaged learning. I come to the field with a broad background of experiences. At Duke, I created a hybrid program combining language, cultural studies, and education. I have served with organizations in Cairo and Kolkata as they work to address the pressing needs of youth in their communities. I taught at Central Park School for Children, where I designed project-based learning curriculum and had the privilege of teaching awesome 1st and 2nd grade classes.
