I'm an experienced people leader with a background that goes from treading the boards to the boardroom. After a decade of working as a professional actress in New Zealand and Australia, I moved behind the scenes to work as a theatrical agent, negotiating actors’ contracts, managing PR and promotion and navigating the complex world of the global entertainment industry. While living in London I worked as a theatrical agent and a senior voiceover agent, with high profile clients including Hugh Lawrie, Naomie Harris (Moneypenny in the Bond series) and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter). My more traditional business background includes leading teams in sales/account management, marketing, customer success and operations, with senior leadership roles including Chief Customer Officer, Chief Operating Officer and CEO. I have a passion for New Zealand’s tech SaaS scene and have experience in new market entry, distributed workforces, acquisitions, scaling, UX, CX and change management. I love all things related to the customer and have a soft spot for fast moving B2C environments. At the heart of every role I've worked in, is a keen interest in people and in what makes us all tick. Finding ways to empower people to communicate well, do great work and make great relationships is what gets me going each day. I am a mum to two wonderful boys, a grumpy cat and do life with a great husband who loves to cook (which is great, as I do not).
