SpotHero is an on-demand parking service that enables drivers to reserve parking spots with convenient garages, lots and valets. The company makes life easier for drivers across the country, including in cities like Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., and Boston. Founded in 2011 by Mark Lawrence, Jeremy Smith and Larry Kiss, SpotHero has raised $27 million in VC funding. It most recently received $20 million in Series B from Insight Venture Partners and Monkfish Equity, with current investors- Battery Ventures, Bullpen Capital, Chicago Ventures, Draper Associates, OCA Ventures, Pritzker Group VC and 500 Startups- also participating the round. SpotHero previously raised $4.5 million in Series A in June 2014 and $2.5 million in seed capital in December 2012.

Graduated with the Class of 2014 from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MIssorui with Latin honors and a B.A. in Sociology, along with a minor in Business. Looking to bring my aptitude for building personal relationships, effective communication skills, and ability to work efficiently on team and individual projects into a successful and fast-paced organization's Human Resource Department.|I wrapped up my last semester of undergrad as a Spring 2014 Intern for the Heart of Missouri Girls on the Run non-profit organization. I also performed administrative work as a Student Office Assistant at the University of Missouri's Parking and Transportation Services since the fall of 2011. This past summer, I was a Site Director at a summer camp though the Northbrook Park District, one of the most successful programs in the Chicago area. I supervised 12 counselors and oversaw about 60 campers in this position.|I currently reside in Las Vegas, working as a Human Resources Associate for Las Vegas Models.
