Having served in development, engineering management, and architecture roles, I consistently approach challenges with a pragmatically - striving to opportunistically drive the broader strategy forward while remaining sufficiently customer-focused to be able to apply tactical solutions when necessary. Specific areas of focus over my 20 year professional career include platform design and development, premise to SaaS migrations, legacy architecture to microservices, highly performant middleware systems, access and identity management systems, open source software and legal considerations, research and development programs, and general technology leadership and mentoring.
