System Manager of Regulatory and Accreditation Compliance

Southern Illinois Healthcare, a not-for-profit healthcare system, is dedicated to promoting the health and well being of all of the people within the communities they serve. I am the System Accreditation Compliance Coordinator for Southern Illinois Healthcare. We have three hospitals within our system. We continue to demonstrate growth and stability within our communities. I assist Corp leadership, hospital leadership, managers, supervisors, and staff with regulatory standard compliance and all Joint Commission related activities. I chair the System Patient Safety Committee, facilitate several additional system and hospital-level meetings and oversee multiple short-term and long-term projects. I assist leaders and managers with action plans to comply with regulatory bodies. I am responsible for tracking action plans, monitoring deadlines and evaluating indicator performance for effectiveness. In January 2013, I passed my Certified Joint Commission Accreditation Professional exam.
