I believe collaboration is essential and want to see it expand inside and outside Siemens. I am a member of the Siemens Managing Board and serve as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. In my position as CTO, I am responsible for the company’s central research and development unit, Corporate Technology, and for next47, our corporate innovation incubator that brings Siemens closer to cutting-edge ideas and provides entrepreneurs with the financial support and expertise they need to bring innovation to life. As head of Corporate Development, I am responsible for Siemens’ global strategy, sales and consulting teams. In addition to these roles, I oversee business in the Building Technologies, Energy Management and Mobility divisions. In terms of cross-sector regional scope, I oversee the activities of our businesses in Asia and Australia. Furthermore, I am Siemens’ Chief Sustainability Officer and work to ensure that Siemens remains on track to become the world’s first major industrial company to have a net-zero carbon footprint.
