Greg Whisenant has been involved in the Risk Management and Transportation Safety Industry for over 23 years. I have chaired the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Safety Committee and held a seat on their Board of Directors. I am currently the President of the North Georgia Motor Trucking Association Chapter. In 2009 I was named Safety Professional of the Year by the NPTC. I have served on past American Trucking Association Safety Committees and hold certificates as a Director of Safety from North American Transportation Management Institute and Certified Transportation Professional from the NPTC. In my current position at Shaw Industries Inc. I am responsible for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation compliance with the commercial motor vehicle fleet and the Sales Fleet of 700 plus light duty vehicles, I am also heavily involved in the following: OSHA compliance for our Fleet Services Shops, 32 Regional Distribution Centers, 1200 plus Commercial Vehicle Drivers, 26 Administrative Office Buildings, represent the company as the (30) (B) (6) ( company representative ) in transportation related legal matters and work toward protecting the overall risks and liabilities associated with the company.
