I am a professional writer with more than 30 years of experience freelancing for national magazines and newspapers, as well as for corporations and non-profit organizations. For almost 20 years I worked half-time as editor of Simon Fraser University's newspaper, SFU News, while continuing my freelance work. I am currently the content editor with SFU's Department of Communications and Marketing where I ensure that the university's key messages and narrative are on-brand. I also coach junior SFU communicators to improve their writing skills.
