Carly Alacahan is an award winning Specialty Representative currently working in the OB/Gyn devices market in NYC. Most recently, providing training to HCP's on a minimally invasive permanent birth control solution to physicians and women when their families are complete. Carly graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with her BA in 2001 and is currently pursuing her MBA in Int'l Business.Shortly after achieving her undergraduate degree in Political Science, she went into sales in the publishing market where she visited clients in NJ and NYC Universities in order to align their specific needs to the current market. While at Pearson Education, Carly was selected to participate in the Development Program & served as the technology Socrates trainer for her team. In 2005 Carly found interest in a different environment and moved onto Pharmaceutical Sales at Schering Plough where she visited providers in the Hudson County, NJ area. Her call panel included Pulmonologists, ID specialists, ENT’s & Allergists as well as General Practitioners. In 2007 she was selected as Rep of the Year and went on to hold several district roles including technology trainer. Later that year she helped pilot the new call reporting platform (Vision) and also helped to lead the composition of the Regional Newsletter working closely with the Area Director. In 2009 Carly accepted a position as a Pain Specialty Representative with Endo Pharmaceuticals in NYC. Within a highly competitive and scrutinized market, Carly topped the charts with her sales of a market leading opioid and a pain reliever to specialists in the Neurology, Orthopedic, and Rheumatology areas. In her current role in the Women’s Health Care division at Bayer Health Care, Carly has succesfully increased awareness and utilization of several contraceptive devices.
