As a Programme/Senior Project Manager I lead mainly Software Development projects and network/ infrastructure related projects, resulting in 20 years Software Development experience and 15 years telecommunications experience up to carrier class, managing many rollouts within “mission critical” environments. Governance, Business analysis, organisation, negotiations with vendors, resource and budget planning, contract management, planning, controlling and co-ordination, 3rd party management, development of work streams and processes, quality management, reporting, test and acceptance are the usual tasks in progressing my projects. I have successfully managed (international) projects with teams of up to 50 engineers with internal teams and 3rd party companies within matrix managed structures as well as project portfolios. During these projects I have been required to converse with the Business, company management/ Stakeholders, lawyers, and I get a good knowledge of diplomatic and political requirements. All recent projects were implemented using Prince 2 methodology (accredited Practitioner). Recent projects were selected as winner by BCS (ATOC) and Winner of The Banker Technology Award 2008 in the 'Infrastructure Strategy' category (IBM/LTSB). Specialties: Project Management
