Rick Mobley has over 34 years of experience in conducting and managing major transportation, site development, urban planning, and design projects across the U.S. He specializes in development of multi-modal transportation solutions for complex single-site developments as well as planning for transportation solutions at a regional, multi-state and national level. A unique background in Landscape Architecture and Urban Transportation Planning offers Rick the ability to provide a perspective on transportation solutions few possess. His experience covers all aspects of development and redevelopment including site planning and design, traffic access and circulation, pedestrian and bicycle facility planning and design, transit facility and service planning, parking facility demand analysis and design for specific sites as well as major generators such as CBD's, stadiums, universities, convention centers, hospitals, and hotels. His urban transportation planning expertise has been called upon for major thoroughfare planning efforts along with state, multi-state, regional and nationally significant transportation projects.Rick has held leadership positions for numerous professional societies such as the Institute of Transportation Engineers and American Planning Association and holds advisory positions at Texas A&M University for the College of Architecture and the Texas Transportation Institute. Rick is a Fellow of ITE and is a registered Landscape Architect, and a Member of APA's American Institute of Certified Planners. He held technical committee appointments and chairmanships on topics including parking, transit, land use, urban development and others.He has also been an active member of community service and charitable organizations such as the Leukemia Society, the Humble Rodeo Cook-off (benefiting HISD Education Foundation), the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Knights of Columbus and is a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.Specialties: Specialties include; multi-modal transportation planning solutions, urban and regional planning, transportation planning and landscape architecture as well as uncovering unique and sustainable design and transportation solutions for the present and the future.
