RSA Canada is an insurance company which is a general insurer, distributing the broadest range of home, auto, business, marine and travel insurance products.

In my 23 years in the P&C Insurance industry I have held a variety of underwriting and leadership roles, always with increasing responsibility. I began my career in 1993 as a commercial automobile underwriter trainee. I worked progressively through the automobile underwriting roles, and then to leader and technical consultant roles in the commercial underwriting area. I then transitioned to a national commercial automobile leadership role in the RSA Head Office in Toronto during a business turn-around in 2003. This was a time of tremendous organizational change, and I had the opportunity to develop and implement national strategy, and to guide our teams effectively through the transformation. Following the successful improvement and turnaround I progressed to P&C leadership roles in the Prairies region in both Commercial and Personal. My many leadership experiences have taught me a lot about developing and leading people and constantly adapting in a really dynamic and challenging industry and marketplace.
