Dr. Abboud is a professor of shoulder and elbow surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University and performs a wide variety of surgical procedures on the shoulder and elbow including arthroscopic surgery (eg. rotator cuff repairs, instability surgery) comprehensive fracture care, as well as shoulder and elbow replacement (arthroplasty) procedures for arthritis.Dr. Abboud serves as the Senior Vice President for the Rothman Institute. He is also extensively involved in both clinical and basic science research. Dr. Abboud lectures extensively both nationally and internationally and is widely published in various journals in addition to authoring several textbooks himself.Dr. Abboud has been caring for patients in the Delaware Valley, Philadelphia, and South Jersey since the late 90's. His goal is to always provide each patient with exceptional personalized care.
