I graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA degree in both Physics and Spanish. After graduation, I was involved in the planning, business analysis, and management of a healthcare start-up company, Insight Therapeutics. Throughout my time there I demonstrated a combination of flexibility and efficiency at Insight. I was able to determine the objectives that were paramount to the company’s success, such as developing business partnerships, meeting with stakeholders, and developing functional specifications of the company’s application. Additionally, I have demonstrated the ability to think quickly and creatively, especially when confronted with issues that threatened the company’s well-being. During my time at Insight, I discovered the importance of information technology in the modern workplace and its role in the productivity of businesses. My attitude towards technology was supported by my experiences with MATLAB in physics courses during college. I sees the future of business revolving around information technology, as big data analytics, the cloud, and network security become more commonplace. I have an innovative attitude and strong desire to tackle difficult problems which will allow me to excel as a project manager in the IT world. In the future, I hopes to, in time, become a chief technology officer.
