Emilio Galán is a product leader and entrepreneur who uses technology to remove barriers to health for both doctors and patients. He cofounded and oversaw the product, engineering, and marketing teams that created Robin, an exam-room recording device for doctors removing administrative friction from the patient care experience. Robin has been used to support more than a million patient visits across the U.S. Emilio attended the Joint Medical Program between UCSF and UCB focused on healthcare economics and policy, through founding multiple companies focused on building a better health care system, to his role at Robin. In addition, he is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Applying subject matter expertise, technology, and design thinking, Emilio’s work explores how data, technology, and people together can help us lead happier and healthier lives.
