Rick L. Kinning is Co-Founder and Co-Owner of RK Mechanical, Inc., now doing business as RK Industries, LLC. RK is a Colorado based diversified construction, manufacturing and building services company working regionally, nationally and internationally. Currently employing approximately 1,500 team members, RK is consistently recognized as one of Colorado's top 5 family owned businesses. RK is one of the largest regional specialty contractors with revenues in excess of $ 360 million. RK has recently reorganized to better allow for our continued growth and expanded business offerings. RK Industries, LLC is our holding company with seven stand-alone business units currently, as follows: --RK Mechanical, LLC --RK Steel, LLC --RK Electrical, LLC --RK Mission Critical, LLC --RK Energy, LLC --RK Service, LLC --RK Water, LLC RK currently maintains three facilities in the metropolitan Denver area totaling 350,000 SF of office and fabrication/manufacturing on 30 acres. We additionally keep offices in Colorado Springs, CO, Vail, CO and in Salt Lake City, UT. Rick's entire career has been with RK Mechanical, Inc. and associated companies. He is passionate about growing and diversifying his businesses and providing opportunity to team members of the companies associated with RK Industries, LLC. This passion was recognized in June 2017 when EY (Ernst & Young) awarded Rick the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for the "Family Business" category representing the Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico region. Rick is managing member for Kinning Holdings, LLC, RK Henderson, LLC and is the founder and Vice President of RK Foundation, Inc. established in 2011 to organize RK's focus on charitable giving activities. Rick is a board member for AMP the Cause, Cherry Creek Area Business Alliance, Water Ion Technologies, LLC, Assistive Technology Partners - University of Colorado and an Advisory Board member for UMB Bank. Rick was born and raised in Northeast Nebraska, and has lived in the Denver, CO area since 1986. He and his wife Marcee have three sons and one daughter. Rick and Marcee enjoy traveling, golf, boating and fitness.
