The DCIM system encompasses a wide range of applications. Some of the main components include Power, Cooling, Physical Security, Environmental (temperature and humidity), Accounting, Monitoring, Ticketing, Client Portal, Authentication and Authorization. Our DCIM application consists of both off-the-shelf and custom built applications and was designed to support the multi-tenancy needs of today’s data centers. My daily role also includes Project Management, Business Analysis and Process Reengineering to make sure the applications meet the needs of the business.StrataScaleDirector of Software DevelopmentLed a software team in the design and development of a custom application that would dynamically create either public or private clouds. The application included a client facing portal that allowed clients to configure their cloud environments as well as administration tools that allowed StrataScale to maintain the underlying infrastructure. PhotronicsDirector of Software DevelopmentLed a software team in the design and development of a custom application to track Photomasks through all levels of manufacturing from raw inventory through shipping. The application was globally implemented and integrated with off-the-shelf applications like the Oracle Financials Suite.
