Prairie View A&M University is a comprehensive public institution of higher education. Part of the Texas A&M University System, it is a land-grant university authorized under the Morrill Acts of 1862 and 1890. The main campus is located in Waller County, approximately forty miles northwest of Houston, Texas and one mile north of Texas Highway 290 on University Drive (Farm Road 1098). A College of Nursing branch facility is located at 6436 Fannin Street in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

By attaining the knowledge and resources to help support the hiring needs of employers and support students career development. •Database Manager for NACElink – Ensure employers and student are connected to expedite job search needs. Monitoring database efficiency, Designing and preparing reports, Developing Protocols for data processing; Training colleagues, employers and students in how to input and extract data; Setting up and testing new database and data handling system. •Summer Camp Administrator- Involved in the planning, preparation and organization of two week residential camps with over 200 middle and high school students. Responsible for the organization, supervision, staffing and execution of parts of the summer camp programs. •Events Coordinator- responsible for coordinating career fairs for fall, spring and summer semesters, company information sessions, and on-campus interviews between employers and students. •Career Advisement- Assist student with Career Development, Self-Direct Search(SDS), recruit employers and alumni to conduct mock interviews.
