Currently at Elizabeth River Crossings I oversee the maintenance of the Downtown and Midtown tunnels. This includes all the electrical switchgear, generators, tunnel lighting, and among many other components. I oversee the maintenance of all the pumps and motors for the tunnels, the supply and exhaust fans to include the new jet fans, the fire alarm systems, and the general maintenance of all the facilities on the project. I am deeply involved with the construction aspect of the project to include the renovations of the existing tunnels and the construction of the new midtown tunnel. I am currently on the acceptance committee for all of the rehabilitation work that has been performed on the existing downtown tunnel and the upcoming midtown tunnel. At ERC I have helped to implement an asset management system called Maximo. I have been very involved in the life cycle planning of the equipment we have at our facilities and have been involved in the budgeting process.
