Kishore Yellamraju is based in the Bay Area and Heads the Global Engineering Infrastructure & Operations functions at Poshmark, leading marketplace for buying and selling Fashion. At Poshmark, he is responsible for the Technology leadership, setting strategy and execution of the global Engineering operations group that includes: Cloud management, Infrastructure security and operations, Devops and Big data. Kishore has over 10 years of experience in building and scaling high-performance Big Data & Analytics Infrastructure, Operations and DevOps teams. He has lead successful commercial and enterprise software development teams across United States and India. Prior to Poshmark, Kishore was the Technical Manager for DevOps, Big Data Site Reliability Operations and Global Network Operations Center teams and is directly responsible for the strategy and operations of the functions that are part of his teams. His team was directly responsible for building, managing, supporting and operating the Infrastructure that hosts PB's of data and handles Billion of transactions every day. Kishore has also held a number of technical operations and lead roles at Cashedge( fiserv), Wells Fargo, EmbarQ and CenturyLink, where he directly support a number of large scale infrastructure projects and initiatives. He is a technologist at heart and loves to mentor others during his free time. He has presented at multiple conferences and meetups in Hadoop and devops related areas (e.g. Hadoop Summit 2014 and Big Data Summit). Kishore holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineer from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India and a Masters Degree in Computer Science.
