I have over twenty (20) year’s solid experience in the IT industry within Australia. My experience ranges from systems administration, system engineering, project management, and systems consultant to Manager Information Systems. I am also ITIL Foundation certified. Previously Chief Information Officer for Melbourne Racing Club where I implemented a state of the art CRM platform and integrated ticketing solution. Prior to this I was employed as Head of IT for the Australian Football League (AFL) - Australia’s premier sporting organisation. In this role, I managed a team in delivering a world-class IT system across Australia and a user base of 800+ users and a customer base of 5108 hosted customers. Prior to joining the team at the AFL, I was the IT Manager for Chiquita Brand South Pacific Limited (Now CostaExchange), one of Australia’s leading growers and distributors of fresh produce. As part of this role I managed a team of 4 and worked with the Business Analyst team in delivering a high end SAP R/3 system across 300 desktops and some 26+ servers. The system was Australia wide and distributed across some 18 locations. This was a both a retail and wholesale business. Before this I was employed by Ipex ITG in the Strategic Planning Practice where I was a senior consultant. This was a national position in which I consulted to various organisations and Australian Government Agencies in Information Technology Strategic Planning, offering advice on technology upgrades, business process re-engineering, direction, support and adherence to “World’s Best Practice” incorporating standards such as ITIL & the Microsoft Solutions Framework. I also worked on large scale business continuity and IT Disaster Recovery plans.
