Responsible for: ~ The management of assigned facilities under current corporate leases. Including the development and maintenance of landlord relationships consistent with lease terms and obligations of both parties. ~ Interaction & collaboration with facilities department managers; project managers; Ohio distribution management, and managers of subcontract security ad food service firms. ~ Inter-department coordination and collaboration for operational initiatives. ~ The coordination/implementation of building and grounds management, maintenance, space Planning; fleet vehicles; and special projects. ~ Support of corporate events and functions. ~ Maintain; refine; enhance; and (when needed) initiate formal operational and pro-active Maintenance procedures for all operational aspects of the facilities dept. ~ Management; supervision; training; and mentoring or direct reports in a professional and productive manner that reinforces mutual respect and optimizes safety and productivity. ~ Provide back-up coverage for the VP of Facilities & Site Services as requested and during Periods of their absence/unavailability. ~ Assist with budget development and subsequent tracking and adherence practices. ~ Manage corporate (hard copy) document retention/storage/destruction and efforts. ~ Computer-related skills lending to communication; scheduling; and documentation, as well as The aptitude and ability to utilize software applications necessary for budgeting; purchasing; Energy management; access control; electronic timecard systems; and work order tracking. ~ Maintenance of and interpretation of civil, architectural; mechanical & electrical plans and Specifications for all corporate facilities.
