Rob believes we have only scratched the surface of how digital can transform organisations and customer interaction - as new dimensions of interaction are added in the form of connected devices and social media networks and organisations begin to reconfigure themselves for the digital age. He is passionate about delivering effective and usable digital omni-channel services that benefit end users and the businesses delivering them, as well as transforming organisations to take full advantage of these services. Currently Director of Digital Business at PA Consulting, he has worked on the vision and strategy for major eBusiness initiatives in FTSE100 companies, helped launch and grow NHS Choices a world class online health service to 15 million users, design award winning next generation intranets, redesign a major public information portal (engaging over a thousand users in co-design), review the go live of one of the largest eCommerce launches in the UK, and coach internet start-ups in market strategy. He has been quoted in the FT on user centric design and social media and co-authored a BCS paper on makes an effective UX practitioner. Prior to PA Consulting Rob sat on the board of OgilvyOne/Interactive in the UK, as Interactive Director. He joined via the aquisition of NoHo Digital in 1999 where he was part of the senior management team. As well as agency management Rob focussed on delivering Ogilvy's global integrated interactive developement methodology, making Ogilvy interactive a top 4 UK digitial agency and delivering great digital work for clients. His clients have included BT, BA, NTL, NHS, NHS Wales, Yell, Goldman Sachs, Sony Playstation, New International, Peter Gabriel's Realworld (the resulting work won 2 BAFTA's) amongst others.
