(Gratitude to Lori and Erica for planting seeds!) She fell in love with the combination of physical expression and spirituality coupled with mental health benefits. She began practice in conjunction with a dance career, then began certifications in Hatha, Yin, Barre, Vinyasa, Kidding Around Yoga for children and most recently Restorative Yoga, where her passion began the shift into this beautiful practice. Yoga has allowed her to share her gifts with a greater audience and remain both a student as well as a teacher and practitioner. Every day is an opportunity to invent a greater version of yourself. Kristy has a toolbox filled with years of passionate teaching, training, and creating love of the fine and performing arts as well as fitness and yoga. Her mantra: foster the development of the marriage between movement, music, and magic in the breath has been the common thread in repairing and building overall health both physically and mentally and she is ecstatic to share it. Classes will offer modifications, challenges, and mental awareness exercises to stimulate both the mind and body in an empowering setting and everyone is welcome regardless of experience, fitness level, or education. She uses a plethora of modalities as a means for cultivating safe space for people to express themselves. Kristy aspires to create space in the mind and body and share the journey with others.
