This team, with an average of more than 25 years of industry experience as transportation and logistics professionals, achieved significant cost reductions and process improvements for Union Carbide and was awarded Union Carbide's highest award for excellence, the Chairman's Award." The team's accomplishments include the contracting and movement of millions of tons of cargo domestically and internationally to over 100 countries. In February 2001, The Dow Chemical Company acquired Union Carbide and Union Carbide's transportation and logistics activities were integrated into Dow's logistics group. In 2002, the UniGlobal management team departed Dow with the key employees necessary to launch Odyssey Logistics & Technology. The company headquarters are located in Connecticut, with additional offices in New York, North Carolina, Delaware, Canada, and Kiev, Ukraine."
