I am a writer. For nearly twenty years I was also a high school teacher and coach. ...but I was always a writer. I have always been a theatre lover. ...but I was always a writer. I am a husband and father. ...but I was always a writer. I incorporated all of who I am and have been into White Rose: The Musical. I taught history; White Rose is based upon a true story! I coached teenagers for 25 years; White Rose is a group of young people finding their way in an unfair world and finding ways to come together as a team and fight against adversity. I have loved theatre all of my life; I knew in my heart that White Rose was a story that belonged on stage. I love my family and would do anything to keep them safe and make the world a better place for them; this very principle is at the heart of White Rose: The Musical. Of all the things that I have been, a theatre producer is not one of them! I have had to learn the industry from the inside out (I only knew it from the house or backstage, not on the stage!). I found mentors and peers who have helped me "find my way" (hopefully someday you will get this reference!) and take this dream from page to stage. White Rose: The Musical is my dream, my vision, my passion.
