Regional Human Resources Director

Nixon Peabody LLP is a global law firm, with more than 650 attorneys collaborating across major practice areas in cities across the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Ms. Majors is a member of Nixon Peabody's global HR leadership team and advises attorneys and managers, including partners, on the provision of human resources services to all populations in Washington, DC, Chicago, Illinois, Raleigh, North Carolina, London England, and the former Paris France office. She coaches and counsels internal clients on a range of human resources areas including talent management, employee training and development, performance and rewards (i.e. compensation, benefits), employee relations matters and risk management, leave administration, policies and procedures, and terminations/separations. In addition to her daily administration of regional HR activities, given her extensive law firm experience, Ms. Majors also leads ad hoc project teams and/or HR initiatives in support of the firm's domestic and global business goals. She has designed leadership development programming for attorneys, women, and diverse employees. She has also lead the development of manager integration and training programs that include executive level leadership. As a change agent, she was an instrumental resource in supporting pre- and post-merger integration initiatives in the Chicago and Raleigh markets, including leading regional downsizing initiatives. Ms. Majors currently leads the firm's Leadership Initiative Committee, Manager Success Program Committee, and New Manager Orientation & Integration Committee. She has also led and managed employee engagement programming to improve morale, increase retention, and promote a Best Place to Work culture within the firm. Ms. Majors is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Capital Chapter, Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and former board member of the Human Resources Association National Capital Area (DC SHRM).
