Teacher and Swimming Coach

Northeast Independent School District is located in San Antonio, Texas. It is one of the leading districts in Texas, and employs more than 9000 people. With several magnet schools, and much to offer in regard to areas of specialty like science and math, or the arts, NEISD continues its tradition of leading the way as the premiere school district in San Antonio.

My work experience includes over 30 years as an Aquatics and Education Professional. I have worked as Head Coach and Educator for the past 30 years in both the public and private sector. For the last 15 I have been the Head Swimming & Diving Coach and Social Studies Teacher at Churchill High School in San Antonio. I have also been a Head USA Swimming Club Coach for over 6 years. I am well respected in the swimming community and presently serve as the President-Elect of the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association and currently President of the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association. I have served on various local and state committee's including the Texas Education Agency's, US History STAAR Item Review committee for 4 years which reviewed/revised/recommended End of Course (EOC) test bank questions developed by ETS and Pearson testing services. Industry Skills: Microsoft Office and Google based platforms and extensions. I have extensive experience is utilizing and troubleshooting issues with Active Network: Hytek Team Manager and Meet Manager Software, Swim Topia Software.
