Commitment and determination - that's my story. I'm one of those few individuals whose career has hit the 25th year milestone at the same company. I feel like my story is no longer the norm in the corporate world but being at the same company for so many years has afforded me many opportunities. I started at Life Insurance Company of the Southwest, now a member of the National Life Group in 1996. In the early years of my career I held administrative roles which allowed me to learn the ropes of the financial services industry as well as the corporate and operational workings of an insurance company. As the company grew so did my opportunities and I dedicated myself to expanding my business acumen and taking on new roles. Here we are 25 years later, I've worked in many roles, both internally and externally, made countless relationships and continue to be a part of the National Life Group story. As a Sr. Client Partner I was responsible for: - Implementation of operational strategies, plans and procedures to drive sales, enhance customer experience and retain business. - Lead the partnership between sales team and home office management to facilitate business development opportunities, business readiness, escalation and problem solving. - Formulate and nurture external relationships with sales team and top tiered sales agencies I work with my sales team and their agencies providing consultation, training and problem resolution. When my team has a problem, they bring it to me to solve. During the process of resolution it's important to work with my internal team to not only resolve the problem but let's find the root cause and fix that too. If my sales leaders have a new opportunity that sits outside our normal process, they bring it to me so I can vet it and work with my internal partners to make it work. Having relationships is a very important part of this role so I'm a relationship builder and nurturer. I'm a native Texan and love sports, particularly football. I have two sons which has afforded me plenty of time at football games and is probably the real reason I love to watch the game so much. Family is important and after working for the same company for so long you have both- personal and a work family. Those relationships are the fiber of who I am today.
