Blair joined MTD Products in July 2010 and assumed his current role as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific in January 2015. In his current role, Blair oversees all aspects of the Australia and Asia businesses. Prior to his current assignment, Blair lived and worked in China for 8 years acquiring proficiency in Mandarin. Blair started his career in corporate strategy and finance. Prior to joining MTD Products, he spent eight years working for Whirlpool Corporation. His Whirlpool experience began in strategic sourcing, followed by an assignment in Shanghai leading the tax and treasury function for the Asia-Pacific region, and culminating as the head of finance for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. A native of Coopersville, Michigan, USA, Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College and an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.
