Mitek Systems, Inc. (Mitek) is engaged in the development and sale of software solutions. The Company is focused in document image processing and image analytics. It also focuses on intelligent character recognition and forms processing technology, products and services used in the financial services markets. It also develops fraud detection and prevention products, which find signatures on any document and, using algorithms, convert them into compact numeric codes, which are then compared against one or more reference codes of trusted signatures for signature verification. It refers to this software product as Mobile Capture. Mobile Capture technology converts a camera-equipped mobile phone into a mobile scanner that has the ability to read and extract data from any digital photo or video image. During the fiscal year ended September 30, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company offers and produces document image processing and image analytics.

He recently served for 15 years as Chairman and CEO of Mitek Systems, a leading global provider of identity verification and payment solutions built on its proprietary AI/machine learning platform. During Jim’s leadership, Mitek’s revenue grew an average of 40% annually, was publicly listed (NASDAQ:MITK), and its market valuation increased from $15 million to nearly $500 million.
