Bio

Aaron is a Partner at MinterEllisonRuddWatts in New Zealand. Affiliated with the Australian based international law firm MinterEllison, MERW is an independent New Zealand law firm with roots back to the 1880s. Aaron represents clients in litigation and investigations, and assists with strategic risk management, across a range of areas. He has particular expertise in trial and appellate advocacy, white collar criminal and regulatory matters, employment law/health & safety, and in sport. Aaron advises clients in New Zealand, Australia and around the world. Aaron is an experienced advocate, having argued cases in all of New Zealand’s main courts, up to the Supreme Court of New Zealand, along with numerous tribunals. He has worked with leading counsel in the UK, United States and Asia on a number of cross-border white collar criminal matters. He also regularly advises a range of sports organisations and athletes on matters of sports integrity in New Zealand and overseas. Aaron has been recognised by a number of international legal directories as a leading lawyer in white collar crime, employment, health and safety, and sport, including Chambers & Partners (Asia Pacific), Who’s Who Legal, Expert Guides, Best Lawyers and Doyles.
