I specialise in larger complex audit and assurance assignments, including subsidiaries of and international groups. I work across a broad range of sectors with particular focus on Retail and FCA regulated companies. I have a wealth of experience in working to tight reporting deadlines and managing teams in the preparation and audit of accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS. I head up the audit department in the London office, managing the day to day running and development of the team. I have a keen interest in developing our team and trainees, and I am the ICAEW person responsible for training in London. I am a member of the audit service line committee that deals with audit compliance, marketing and the strategic focus of the service line. I am the London representative of the FRS102 Working Group leading the implementation and training for the London office staff and clients Before joining the profession I trained as a chef and continue to have a keen interest in cooking but only for fun. Living in the leafy outskirts of London I like to spend my spare time walking my two basset hounds in the nearby forests, I am also a keen traveller currently embarking on seeing the seven wonders of the new world, as there’s only one of the classic wonders left!
