David Casey is responsible for forming relationships with government officials as they develop and execute public policy. He serves as one of the Company’s primary leads for identifying new business opportunities. In this role, he works closely with a variety of national and international organizations, guiding the implementation of health and human services policy designed to help improve quality outcomes while increasing operational efficiencies.Mr. Casey has more than 30 years of professional and operations experience, including successful implementation of large-scale information technology and business process outsourcing projects for health and human services, administrative, legislative and regulatory governmental agencies. He joined MAXIMUS in 1994, has held various operational management positions within the Company, and currently serves on the MAXIMUS Executive Committee as well as the MAXIMUS Foundation Board of Directors.His early career included positions with Motorola and Wang Laboratories where he gained significant management, technical and operations experience and worked collaboratively with state and local governments to develop and implement innovative solutions. In addition, Mr. Casey was actively involved with the successful Chapter 11 restructuring of Wang, which at the time was one of the quickest turnarounds for a company of that size.Mr. Casey holds a bachelor’s degree in general engineering and computer science from Northeastern University, and a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
