A born leader, Shawn Haycock learned how to work hard at an early age. From his beginnings as a spiral staircase designer at Architectural Stairways in Utah, he progressed to managing their will-call department, and eventually worked to develop a national $ 1.2 million sales program. After relocating to Arizona, Shawn joined Q The Sports Club as a licensed massage therapist, and was quickly promoted to manager of the massage department, then a regional manager and finally the assistant national director of massage therapy, overseeing 20 facilities from Florida to California. When the chain was sold, Shawn drew upon his collegiate activities and his innate business acumen to join forces with one of the sports club's former owners, and in 2001, co-founded Massage Envy, a national brand which today has annual revenues approaching $1 billion dollars (2012), with 1000 franchisees and over 800 clinics in 46 states. In addition to franchise consulting, Shawn now owns two Massage Envy locations in Utah, while overseeing an additional three locations in San Diego and Arizona.
