In both my professional and private life, I’m energized by new and unexpected experiences. Within the spectrum of comfortable and uncomfortable occurrences, I strive to explore my and others’ critical points of transition. There, where comfort meets its rival is where people grow, societies progress and the richest most colorful experiences bloom. In my personal life, I’m a person that challenges what’s mainstream, expected and “given”. In a controlled way, I purposely wander off the beaten path to challenge preconceptions and to seek alternative points of view. I enjoy discovering encounters that test my understanding of the world. I am an enthusiastic and empathetic optimist who genuinely likes to make people happy and lives more meaningful. In my professional life I strive to bring these types of exciting growth experiences to the marketplace. As a trained and practiced architectural designer my fundamental approach to problem solving is rooted in a socially-focused creative process. Architects are unique in their ability to balance creativity with structure, choreography with spontaneity and originality with risk. From my business studies and practice – focused in Services Leadership – I put this creative process to work to design, test and bring to market new and targeted services in the Building Industry. I take pride in my ability to connect with customers and understand their explicit and implicit needs to build branded offerings that go above and beyond expectations, building satisfaction and loyalty. To me, my services business focus is defined as an approach always led with the customer first, putting their ultimate root challenge - whether it be emotional, financial, practical, social or other – first.
